Literacy Night

It was great to see everyone who made it to Literacy Night.  I enjoyed watching you interact with your children as they demonstrated how we do certain tasks in the classroom.  I am so lucky to get to work with each of your wonderful children. 

 Showing mom and dad how to play "What's Missing?"

 Making decoding character sticks (Eagle Eye reminds us to look at the picture to figure out the unknown word)

 Using magnetic letters to make words and changing the initial, medial, or final letter to make a new word.

If you were not able to make it I will be sending home the information and materials to make the things the students made that night.
